As a Pre-K Teacher in our center, you will help children prepare for school in a dynamic, engaging environment that promotes discovery, creativity, and collaboration. • Environment as the Third Teacher: Set up purposeful learning spaces that invite exploration and allow children to make choices, promoting independence and self-directed learning.
  • Family Collaboration: Communicate regularly with families, especially when children require extra support, ensuring consistent developmental progress and shared goals.
  • Child Observation and Documentation: Capture each child’s growth through detailed observations, written notes, and visual documentation to share with families.
  • Physical Care and Meal Supervision: Oversee mealtimes, guiding children in appropriate eating habits, and maintain hygiene standards to keep the classroom clean and safe.
  • Diverse Learning Support: While not a specialization, familiarity with ADHD and mild autism is a valued skill, enabling support for a diverse range of learning needs within the classroom.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in a child-centered, low-ratio classroom setting, especially one emphasizing exploration-based learning.
  • Strong creativity, communication, and adaptive teaching skills.
  • Familiarity with ADHD and autism in young children is a plus, supporting our inclusive approach.
