After-School Assistant

At GOMS, we offer an after-school program designed to help students with homework and provide a safe, supportive space after school hours. Our assistants help students stay on task, provide encouragement, and ensure a positive, structured environment.
We Are Looking For
A responsible and enthusiastic After-School Assistant who can support students with their after-school routines. This individual will assist students with their assignments, provide encouragement, and safely escort them from a nearby school to our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Homework Assistance: Help students stay on task with assignments and answer basic questions as needed.
- Supervision: Create a positive environment, encourage good behavior, and maintain a safe space for students to complete their work.
- Pickup Duties: Walk with students from a nearby school to our after-school location.
- Encouragement and Support: Build positive relationships with students, helping them feel supported and confident.
Requirements
- Friendly, reliable, and responsible attitude.
- Ability to work well with children and maintain a positive environment.
- Strong communication skills and patience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Background check and any state-required clearances for working with minors.

Pay: $15.13 per hour and up
